Thailand, also called The Land of Smiles, is the ideal destination to truly understand the essence of Southeast Asia.

The paradisical islands on the Gulf of Thailand and in the Andaman Sea, the picturesque floating markets of one of the most cosmopolitan cities of the world (Bangkok), the wonderful and natural landscapes of the Golden Triangle, and the temples, scattered around all the territory, that will make you feel the spirituality of Buddhism.

     The Time for Traveling

Even though Thailand is visited by tourists all year long, the best time to visit it is the Dry Season (from November to March). Between these months the temperature doesn’t go up so many grades and the precipitations are very scarce (except for the paradisical islands on the Gulf of Thailand: Koh Samui, Koh Tao, and Koh Phangan, as their months, of scarce precipitation, are from July to August.).

Money

Thailand’s coin is the Baht (1 baht = 0,027€). The best place to get your money changed to Bahts is Thailand itself.

Language

Thai is the official language of Thailandia and the dominant language of the country.

Passport

In Thailand, citizens of the European Union need not any special papers, other than their own passports to prove that they truly are citizens of the European Union, if they want to stay there as a tourist for 30 days.
