Siem Reap (3 nights): In Siem Reap, we will visit one of the wonders of the world, the temples of Angkor Wat. To visit them we can choose between renting bicycles or hiring a tuk-tuk tour. The option that we recommend is one day with each. The first day pedal through the nearest temples and the second visit the furthest ones from the carriage of our Tuk-Tuk.
We will stay at 333 Hostel Siem Reap Battambang (2 nights): We will arrive in Battambang from Siem Reap aboard a boat/bus, which navigates the streams that connect Tonlé Sap Lake with the city. Being a long journey, from 7 to 12 hours, depending on the times the ship embarks, the hours fly by, enjoying the wonderful pictures that the small (or not so small) floating towns that we will visit will leave us. It is important to bring water and food for the trip since the boat is very rudimentary and does not offer services of any kind.
The next day we will know the most interesting points around Battambang. We will stay at Bambu Hotel
Kep (2 nights) / Kampot (2 nights) / Rabbit Island (1 night): After crossing the country from north to south on buses of the Cambodia public transport network, we will arrive in the province of Kep. Kep is a small province that lives from fishing and agriculture. In it we can taste the famous Kampot pepper and visit some of its plantations while staying with local families to see how they live in rural Cambodia. Of course, one of the days we will eat at the commercial market that is located in the city of Kep. We will also visit Rabbit Island, a wonderful island with very rudimentary accommodations.
We will stay in the Individuals Islands of Koh Rong, we will stay there 3 nights, and Koh Rong Samloem, in which we will also stay for 3 nights. These will be rest days in paradise where we will stay at Coconut Beach and Easy Clamps, respectively.
Phnom Penh (3 nights): once in the country's capital, we will delve into its history by visiting the Toul Sleng Museum, and one of the extermination camps that unfortunately led in its most recent history. We will also visit the Grand Palace and the Silver Pagoda. We will stay at: Onederz Phnom Penh.
