The Time for Traveling
Like most countries in Southeast Asia, the best time to visit Myanmar is the Dry Season, from November to March.
Even though Kyat (1 Kyat=0,00062€) is the official currency of Myanmar, regarding tourist transactions, the most used coin is the US dollar. Credit cards and checks are also not used nor accepted in the majority of the country.
Burmese is the official language of Myanmar, spoken as a first language for 32M of people, and as a second language for 10M of people. But Burmese is not the only language of Myanmar; more than 100 languages and dialects are also spoken by a significant number of Myanmarese people
All foreigners to Myanmar who want to travel there will need the same visa. This visa will allow them to stay in the country for 28 days; it isn’t extensible. Foreigners may acquire this visa at a Myanmar embassy or online.
