Maldives
The Sunny Side of Life
The Maldives may not be within Southeast Asia, but we decided to include it in the list of countries that we offer trips to for its paradisiacal islands.
The Maldives as a country is a conglomerate of 1190 islands, and each island, with its turquoise waters; its white sand; its beautiful palms that contrast with the setting sun; etc, is a piece of heaven. Its fauna is also very gorgeous (stingrays, turtles, dolphins, sharks, colored fishes, and even more exotic creatures).
We believe that The Maldives should be visited at least once in a lifetime for all of this beauty the country has to offer.

The Time for Traveling
Even though the climate and weather in The Maldives are always good, the best time for traveling there would be between November and April, as this time has the least amount of precipitation of all the year.
Money
Even though the Maldives official currency is Rufiyaa (1 Rufiyaa= 0,054 €), the majority of transactions with tourists are done in U. S. dollars and debit card.
Language
The official language in all the islands of The Maldives is Dhivehi, but all the natives that do business with tourism speak perfect English.
Passport
The citizens of the European Union don’t need any new visa (aside from documents that prove the legibility of their European citizenship) if their stay is less than 30 days.
